About Us

Meet Meagan and Graham Benson, co-owners of Pretty Lovely Teas.

Graham is originally from the UK and came to the US for college, where the couple met. Through Graham, Meagan fell in love with all things British, especially the afternoon tea tradition. Fun fact: Graham actually grew up fewer than 10 miles from Woburn Abbey in Bedfordshire, England, where the 7th Duchess of Bedford invented afternoon tea in the 1840s.

For Meagan, one of the best parts of afternoon tea is its intersection with the southern hospitality on which she was raised. At their core, both customs are about slowing down and sharing moments with family and friends around a table of delicious food. Through her menus, décor, and service, Meagan’s perfected the “blend” of British tradition and southern style, which is one of the many reasons why Pretty Lovely Teas is such a wonderful fit for the Nashville community.
